Memorial Fund for Argelia Servan “Yiayia”

El miércoles, 09 de Octubre del 2024 la abuelita Argelia, mejor conocida como la “Yiayia,” partió a su encuentro con el Señor. Para todos los que la tuvimos el privilegio de conocerla, la Yiayia fue un angelito en vida terrenal; una mujer luchadora, buena, bondadosa, y siempre, siempre, siempre sonriente y ¡FELIZ! Ella fue indudablemente una mujer GUERRERA- en todo sentido de la palabra- que incorporaba purito amor en todo lo que pensaba, hablaba, y gestionaba. La Yiayita fue un ejemplo de vida y un ejemplo de la armonía y paz perfecta que debemos luchar cada uno de nosotros por lograr en nuestra vida.

Nos deja un vacío irreparable en el alma y en el corazón; encontramos refugio y paz en saber que ella entra a la Gloria del Señor, y nuestro Dios la recibe en el cielo para que comience a disfrutar su vida celestial, junto a su amor de vida, el Papu. Efectivamente, eso fue lo que ella más quería: Volver a encontrarse con él algún día y ser felices como lo fueron aquí en la tierra.

Si sus corazones y sus condiciones actuales permiten que puedan apoyarnos en los costos relacionados al entierro y costos médicos, agradeceríamos muchísimo cualquier apoyo. Sentimos una gratitud inmensa a cada una de las personas que contribuyeron a la felicidad completa de nuestra Yiayia, ella realmente tuvo un lugar MUY especial en su corazón para cada persona que ella amaba; y cuando amaba, amaba con todo el alma.

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Grandma Argelia, better known as "Yiayia," departed to meet the Lord. For each of us who had the privilege of meeting her, Yiayia was an earth angel; a resilient, loyal, giving, and kind woman who was always, always, always smiling and inherently HAPPY! She was undoubtedly a WARRIOR - in every sense of the word. She incorporated pure love in all of her thoughts, words, and actions. Yiayita lived an exemplary life. She embodied the perfect harmony and peace that each of us should strive to achieve in our lives.

Her passing leaves us with an irreparable void in our souls and in our hearts; we find refuge and peace in knowing that she enters the Glory of the Lord, and our Lord receives her in heaven. We have chosen to trust that she has begun enjoying her heavenly life, together with her love of life, Papu. Indeed, that was what she desired most: To meet with him again and be happy, as they were here on earth.

She had a VERY special place in her heart for every person she loved; and when she loved, she loved with every fiber of her being.
