Cassandra Marie Maxson, age 37 of Faribault, MN died on Thursday, December 3, 2020.
Cassandra Marie, the daughter of Barbara Amundson and Dale Maxson Jr. was born on January 10, 1983 in Faribault, MN. She attended Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 2001. Following high school she attended South Central Technical College and then began working at Genova as a bookkeeper and also in human resource for over 16 years. She also worked part time as a bartender at different bars including, Grandpa Al’s, Our Place on 3rd and Winjums Shady Acres Restaurant & Resort. Cassie had an infectious smile and personality that would light up a room with song and everyone was drawn to her because of that.
She is survived by her daughter, Mariah Tatge and Mariah’s father, Dustin Tatge; by her mother Barbara Amundson; by her father, Dale (Rita) Maxson Jr. and Dean Berge; by her siblings, Dustin (Emily) Amundson, Cody Berge (Chelsea Reiter), Megan Berge, Mitchell Berge and Christian (Wendy) Maxson; by maternal grandparents, Harold and Toni Amundson and paternal grandparents, Dale and Dianna Maxson Sr. and by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shirley Amundson, uncle Joey Maxson and by maternal and paternal great grandparents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault with Fr. Brandon Theisen officiating. Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. For those unable to attend the service will also be live-streamed through a link found on Cassie’s obituary page at www.parkerkohlfuneralhome.com.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to services. There will be no reviewal at the church on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. There will also be a memorial fund established at Reliance Bank in Faribault for Cassandra’s daughter Mariah.
