Memorial Fund for Cecil Brown Jr

On March 31st, 2023 , Cecil “ Tank “ Brown died unexpectedly. He was known for his smile and the love of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. He is preceded in death by his sister Rogenia Brown, his mother , Waltina Lyons , his wife , Jannie Goley Brown , and his father , Cecil Brown .

Cecil had a companion / caregiver who cared for him throughout his battles with illness . He was known as the “ Mayor” in his neighborhood and helped anyone he could. He is a Loudon High School graduate. He attended Hiwassee College and is a graduate of Tusculum.

Cecil does not have any living next of kin except for his two siblings , Reggie and Marlon . They are both on fixed incomes due to disability and are seeking assistance in providing a proper funeral arrangement for their brother .

Due to the complexities and circumstances of this event , they are unable to move forward with arrangements without being able to pay fees in advance . The amount that is raised will be used for final expenses and other fees that are incurred for services required after death .
