Memorial Fund for Dillons Girls
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Anna. Our world was changed forever on March 6th, when my sweet little brother, Dillon Floerke, passed away in his sleep. He was only 35 years old and had battled with an unknown health condition for several years. He was never able to get a diagnosis, and many doctors wrote him off. None of us had any idea how horribly sick he really was.
Even though he was chronically ill, he worked full time and had 50/50 custody of his two beautiful daughters. He gave everything for his girls and was an AMAZING daddy. Making silly videos and having dance parties were some of their favorite things to do together. From the time he was young, Dillon dreamed of being a father. Anyone who knew Dillon would tell you his girls were his whole world.
Dillon was also a good, kind man. He was the family comedian, and loved making people happy, laugh, and smile. He was so good at expressing love and appreciation. His kindness was palpable.
His sweet daughters are now left without a daddy, and their mom, Amanda, is left to raise these two young girls on her own. Any donations will go towards helping Amanda and the girls. Everything from help with unexpected expenses, to money for fun family activities. Amanda's life has changed dramatically and we don't want her to be worried about finances right now. She has enough to deal with, navigating her own grief and walking her daughters through theirs. If enough money is raised, we may put some towards reimbursing family for some end of life expenses. However, Amanda and the girls are the number one priority.
Because GoFundMe is not set up to have multiple beneficiaries, I am listed as the beneficiary and will be responsible for distributing funds.
This tragic loss has rocked our family to the core. We are so appreciative of all the love, prayers, and support. I don't know how we could have gotten through this time without the support we've received from people who loved Dillon. Dillon had a relationship with Jesus, so we have faith that we will see him again. Until then we will love and support his beautiful children and their momma. Please pray for his girls, Amanda, and our family.
We will host a memorial service for Dillon on May 20th at 2pm.
