Support for the Family of Elijah Alvarez

Mid-Jersey Chinese School is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Adreena Lind.

On December 10th, Elijah Alvarez’s life was tragically taken at the age of 15. His brother, age 12, was injured during the course of this violent crime, which took place in Newark, NJ.

This memorial fund was created by MJCS to support Elijah’s family during this difficult time. Elijah, his brother, and their two younger sisters are all part of our school family, and we are truly heartbroken. In addition to helping to fund Elijah’s funeral expenses, we also would like to support his brother in his physical and emotional recovery. We hope you will consider making a donation of any size. The beneficiary of the funds will be Adreena Lind, Elijah’s mother, who will be able to use the funds for expenses related to funeral expenses as well as to support Elijah’s siblings following this tragedy.
