Memorial fund for Evelyn Hodges and her grandson, Nicholas

Hello, I'm Shannon, Evelyn's daughter. Our family tragically lost our beloved mother and grandmother on Tuesday, April 30, following a sudden and rapid illness.

Evelyn meant a great deal to many people, touching countless hearts with her kindness, warmth, and overall zest for life. The most common thing I've heard from people over the last few days was "She was such a badass!"

As I'm sure many of you know, she also has raised her grandson since he was born and supported him financially.

We are kindly asking for donations to help cover the funeral expenses and to support Nicholas as he continues his education in New Jersey. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Scanlan Funeral Home, 781 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains NJ 07444 from 12-2PM. A Memorial Service will take place at 1 PM.
