Memorial fund for Hadt Family

Hello, my dear friend and former co worker, Stacy Hadt lost her husband, Drew recently after a very short illness. Drew and Stacy have 3 wonderful children, Riley, Carter and Abby. This memorial fund is to help support Riley, Carter and Abby.

Drew supported his children every single day of his life. Drew choose to stay home to help with online schooling for all three children. Their oldest son, Riley has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called VEDS. Riley has to be kept away from acute illness therefore no in person schooling. Drew therefore assisted with all of the kids online schooling and care while Stacy works as an inpatient oncology/hospice Nurse.

Drew and Stacy worked as an incredible team managing Riley’s care along with Vascular Surgeons, Geneticist and a variety of other Mayo Clinic Specialists.

Drew and Stacy have done so much work raising awareness for VEDS since currently their is no cure for VEDS.

Stacy is a charge nurse treating some of the most acutely ill patients with cancer and some at the end of their life.

I have seen Stacy’s caring touch, gentle approach, compassion and calmness during the most stressful times on the floor. Stacy not only cares for her Oncology patients so incredibly well but she cares for her staff, friends and family with the same level of heart touching kindness that the world needs.

All of Stacy’s co workers, friends and family love her and we also want to do what ever we can to support this incredibly kind hearted family in their time of loss.
