My father passed away from complications related to Covid-19 on Tuesday, October 27th. He was a very dedicated and hardworking man who did everything he could to give us a better life, including leaving his hometown of Villagran, Guanajuato in the late 80s to find work as his infant son had sustained a traumatic brain injury and needed medical care.
He always made sure that his sons and wife were taken care of with a roof over their head and food on the table. While it is difficult to imagine life without our dad, we are coming to terms with his passing and pray that God delivers him to heaven in be in the company of his beloved parents and siblings-- one of which preceded him in death by only a couple of weeks.
We are long time residents of Salt Lake City where we call Rose Park home. We are incredibly humbled by the outpour of support and sympathy that has come from our family, friends, and community. It is with great humility that we ask for you assistance during this unfortunately and untimely event. If you can find it in your means to pitch in and help us, we will be forever grateful.
They funds raised will be used to cover the cost of the funeral services and any medical bills related to his hospitalization.
If you prefer you can also make a donation directly to my Venmo @Jose-RodriguezH (cell: [phone redacted]) or if you would like to make any other in-kind donations, do not hesitate to call our text me at my cell number.
We are still in the process of solidifying mass and services to pay of final goodbyes.
With so much love and gratitude,
Jose, Luis, Jorge & Alicia
