Memorial Fund for Justin Nolan

On November 9th, 2024 my Aunt Lori Nolan received a knock at her door from the sheriff, a knock no mother ever wants to receive. Lori was notified that her son, Justin Nolan, had passed away.

Justin will forever be 43, one day shy of his 44th birthday (November 10th). Justin was the son of Rich Nolan and Lori Nolan, of Norfolk, and a brother to Jay Nolan, of Norfolk as well. Justin's pride and joy was his nine-year-old son, Ian, who is genuinely a sweet kid that will miss all the fun things he and Justin did together. From monster trucks to gaming, Justin and Ian made many memories together.

Justin graduated from Norfolk High in 1999 and made his home in Lincoln, Nebraska and had many interests. He worked at the Nebraska State Penitentiary where he had many colleagues and coworkers. From my understanding, Justin and his and his buddies enjoyed trying out different restaurants in Lincoln. Justin enjoyed traveling as well and watching hockey (with the Colorado Avalanche being his favorite team).

I am reaching out to friends and family for financial help related to Justin's cremation and celebration of life. Since November 9, 2024, Lori and her son Jay have had several financial and legal hoops they have had to jump through, adding to the grief of losing Justin.

My Aunt Lori has a couple asks for anyone who may come across this:

⭐️Every single person needs to have a will in place to ensure their wishes are honored upon their passing. From our understanding, a will would also clear up any legal and/or financial questions/disputes upon passing away. Please have this conversation with your loved ones.

⭐️Tell your loved ones you love them every single day and make time for your loved ones.❤️❤️

⭐️Please pray. Pray for strength and guidance during this time of grief, finding comfort in knowing that Justin is resting with God now.
