Memorial Fund for Katie Turpin Zimmer

This GoFundMe is on behalf of the family of Katie Turpin Zimmer.

 

Katie was recently hospitalized with pancreatitis and was recovering well. She was released from the hospital on Friday, May 27th. On Saturday afternoon, Katie unexpectedly had an event that caused her to go into cardiac arrest. She was resuscitated multiple times before arriving at the hospital.

 

Katie spent the next week in intensive care, where doctors and nurses did everything they could to save her. After exhausting all options, we lost this beautiful light on Saturday, June 7th.

 

As you can imagine, the medical bills alone will be very high. While insurance will pay a portion of the expenses incurred by her family, there is a large amount that will not, including her burial expenses.

Katie was an amazing person with a magnetic personality. She had an uncanny way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the world to her.
