Memorial fund for Marlan Johnson

My name is Leah Pittman and I'm setting up this go fund me on behalf of my cousin Michael Johnson to help cover the costs to plan a memorial service for my nephew.

It is with a heavy heart that the Johnson family must prepare to lay a young soul to rest.

Marlan Johnson, loving son of Michael Johnson and Aliza Grayzell gained his heavenly wings on Friday June 23, 2023 in Portland Oregon. His life was cut short unexpectedly due to gun violence.

This unfortuante tragedy has caught the family off guard as no one expects to lose such a young soul so early in life.

Words cannot describe the pain our family and friends are experiencing as they grieve from the loss of this precious angel.

Marlan was only 24 years old and just starting his life journey. We will miss his fun loving spirit and silly ways. He had a funny infectious laugh and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was close to his 11 siblings and shared many special and memorable moments just playing around and having fun. He was loved dearly and will be remembered for his giving heart and the way he would light up a room with his presence.

The Johnson/Grayzell family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, support and prayers.
