Memorial Fund for Nick Mowery

On Friday, February 19, our brother, son, father, and friend Nick Mowery left this world to join his beloved wife Connie. We're organizing this fundraiser to help his two children, Scott and Katie, with funeral costs and other expenses.
If you knew Nick, you know he had an incredible sense of humor, always ready with jokes and an easy laugh. His Little People of America friends may remember a convention back in the 80's when he wore a pair of shorts with a Texas flag on them all weekend, earning him the nickname "Tex." He loved it because he was born in. . .in Ohio.
A devoted family man, Nick was so proud of his daughter Katie, his son Scott, Scott's wife Kendal, and his grandson Teegan. He was devastated when Connie passed in 2018 and we know he's cracking jokes and Connie is shaking her head at him in Heaven.
In addition to his kids and grandson, Nick leaves behind his dad Gene, six siblings (Becky, Fritz, Kathy, Carol, Dan, and Jason) and many nieces and nephews. Growing up the closest in age to me, one of my fondest memories is Nick always reminding me that he was "Big Brother."
As he was living on a limited income, his young adult children are left to bear the cost of all funeral and other expenses as they grieve the loss of both parents in a short amount of time. In the last couple of years, Nick lived with his children and Scott was his primary caregiver. Let's take some of the burden off them and raise money to cover these costs and help them with living expenses.
