Memorial Fund for P.O. Jose Vargas

On March 17th, 2022, the Jersey City Police Department unexpectedly lost a fellow brother in blue, Police Officer Jose Vargas. Jose proudly served his country as a United States Marine before joining the Hudson County Sheriff's Department in 2013. In January of 2016, Jose transferred to the Jersey City Police Department, where he served and protected his community for over six years. Jose was an amazing son, father, and co-worker. His family, friends, and most importantly, his son Jayden, will truly miss him. Jose was a loving father who loved Jayden with all his heart and did everything in his power to ensure he was taken care of. Jose's son will greatly benefit from our love and care during this time of need. All funds raised will go towards Jose's son to help support and assist him in any way.
