In Memory of Ray
Donation protected
On Sunday, March 29th, one of the brightest lights this world has ever known passed away a week after being diagnosed with COVID-19. Reynold Anderson-Hewitt is a once in a lifetime friend, he is the kind of friend that everyone deserves to have in their life. He is a loving brother, son, godfather, and uncle to his family. He is an example of the kind of partner we should all be to his husband, Chris. Together, he and Chris made a home full of love, and life, and laughter, and kindness. A home that was often full of people who they loved to feed and fill up with the overflow of love that came from the two of them being together. Losing Ray is devastating and unimaginable, but Ray will continue to be present in the lives of all the people who knew and loved him, to all of us, he will never be past tense.
There is obviously nothing that can ease the pain we're all feeling in this moment, but our hearts are with Chris and we want to do anything we can to support him at this time. In that spirit, we are asking anyone who can to please donate to a fund that will help ease the burden of medical bills, memorial costs, and to help Chris get back on his feet in this awful time. We know this is a tough time financially for so many people, so anything at all you can give (even the smallest amount) matters and is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for honoring Ray in this way and supporting Chris in this moment of unspeakable difficulty and loss. The world will never be quite as bright as it was before, but coming together as a community to support the one he loved most is what we can all do to honor this magnificent human who is so loved by so many.
