Memorial fund for Susan Page

With the permission from her sons, I am making this gofundme as they should not be left with the financial burden after such a hard and unexpected loss of their mom.
3 weeks ago my Aunt Sue went to the doctor for a routine check-up, simply because she was not feeling well and was having trouble eating. After running some tests over several days doctors diagnosed her with gallbladder cancer, which had spread to her liver and lungs.
She was scheduled to start chemotherapy and immunotherapy as soon as possible to help fight the cancer. Before they could start treatment they had to get rid of an infection in her liver. She had to stay in the hospital until the infection was gone. Chemotherapy is very tough on the body and they needed her to be as strong as possible to undergo such treatment.
After about a week in the hospital the infection seemed to be going away. It appeared that Sue was just about set to go home. She was scheduled to start outpatient treatment for the cancer on July 5th. Unfortunately, on June 29th the day before they hoped to discharge her she was having trouble breathing. Doctors did another scan on her chest and discovered the cancer in her lungs had grown aggressively. Much more aggressively than doctors had initially expected.
On July 1st Sue and family were told that the cancer had become too advanced and treatment was no longer an option. She was told she would only have days left to live due to the rapid growth of the cancer in the lungs. Matt and Josh did their best to have as many of her friends visit, but she had low energy and was not up for a lot of visitors.
In the early hours of July 4th Sue passed away with her brother Jeff and her son Josh by her side.
I wanted to make this to help my cousins Matt and Josh cover the costs associated with putting their mom to rest. They plan on doing a celebration of life in the near future and laying her to rest at Rest Lawn Cemetery near her mom, who she was very close with.
As Sue was still young and living life to the fullest, she had no prearranged plans for her death and her family is having to cover all expenses. Any little thing helps even if it’s just a share.
