Memorial Fund for Shawna Culp
Donation protected
Shawna Culp spent her life serving the needs of others, and bringing hope and healing to people everywhere she went. She was a radiant light that caused even those in her shadow to be healed. She was vibrant and beautiful from the inside out! A masterpiece crafted by the hands of Love.
After Shawna's family was hit with covid a few months ago, Shawna and her mother were both hospitalized in Georgia along with her oldest son. Her son Brandon was able to go home after a few days and her mother, Glenda was home again after a few weeks, but Shawna suffered severe lung damage and was on life support for six weeks before her body was unable to tolerate anymore treatment. Shawna passed quietly with her husband, Chad, and her oldest son, Brandon, at her bedside in Newnan, Georgia on Monday, October 11, 2021.
Shawna's family has been devastated by such a tragic loss, and we are hoping to help them ease the burden of the expenses incurred by asking for support from friends and family. The exact dates and times for a service have not yet been decided, but we will update the post as we have more details to share.
Shawna was a beloved daughter of God. Her physical stature may have been small, but her spiritual heart was enormous! She always knew what to say and how to help during any crisis in anyone's life. She was a private person, but she was always willing to help anyone that was in need. She could keep a secret and she was the one to talk to no matter what a person was going through. She was trustworthy and dependable.
Shawna leaves behind her husband Chad, two sons, Brandon and Alex, a grandson, Lucas, Sister Kelly, niece Megan, nephews Zachary, and Cody as well as her Mother Glenda.
Shawna was protective and proud of her boys, but not just her boys, she was a mother to all who knew her. She helped raise many children and she loved to spoil all of them with trips and gifts that made her everyone's favorite.
No one ever expected that the healthiest person ever would pass from a sickness shortly after celebrating her 50th birthday. Shawna was always caring for others and spent the past three and a half years devoted to seeing her grandson and others with the same diagnosis completely healed and whole. She created the LucasJohnFoundation.com to support research and families struggling with the same issue as her grandson Lucas. Shawna was full of faith and never doubted God for a minute. She finished her race early, but she ran it well and she is now enjoying the beautiful Heavenly city with the Lord Jesus and all those who passed before her.
We are still in shock and trying to grasp what has happened, but we know that she is most blessed with the Lord.
All donations will go to support the expenses incurred by the family during this time of sorrow and loss. Anything extra will go to support the LucasJohnFoundation.org, because that is what Shawna would have wanted to see and know she made a difference with her life work.
