Memorial Fund For the Temchatin Family

Our basketball community and family has been hit with a huge loss. Matt Temchatin will never be forgotten or replaced. To everyone's shock and dismay, Matt passed away suddenly on Thursday. His family and friends were blindsided and devastated. He leaves behind his loving wife Missy and their children Max (13) and Molly (12). He also leaves behind his entire basketball community. Matt wasn't just in it for his kids, but all kids. He was the organizer, coach, door man, and clean up crew. 

The love he had for his family was second to none. Everything Matt did, was for his family. He would spend hours in the gym with Max and Molly. He wanted to give them every opportunity to be the best at the sport they love. He was always up for a road trip, whether to cheer on his beloved 76ers with the kids or to take Molly to Brooklyn to play a few games. Matt loved his wife Missy. He kept the kids entertained while Missy would work at night. When in the gym or at practice, when Missy called, he'd stop what he was doing and give his attention to the call. Matt was a good man, a great father, and a loving husband. He would and did do anything for anyone. Now, it's time for us to help take care of his family since he is no longer here to do it. 

For anyone who has experienced this type of tragic loss, knows that there are many sides to healing. Helping lift the known and unknown financial burdens will allow the family space to begin those processes  May Matt rest in please knowing his family is taken care of.
