Donation protected
Kyle Robert Lincoln, 35, passed away on October 21, 2022 after long-term complications from cancer treatments. Kyle is survived by many: his mother Elizabeth Jane Venables, his estranged father Donald Brian Lincoln, grandmother Elenor Omdahl, aunts, uncles, cousins, his wife of 9 years and friend of over 18 years Lindsay Raye Seguin, his two amazing son’s Tristan John Seguin (11), and Matthew Truman Lincoln (8), and so many friends.

Kyle will be remembered fiercely by those who knew and loved him the most. We chose to carry his easy smile and comforting embrace in our hearts as we navigate through the unbearable grief of his untimely passing.

A local service will be held for friends and immediate family on November 19, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV (location yet to be determined).

A memorial service will be scheduled in the Denver area in May 2023 for loved ones in the surrounding areas of his youth.

A memorial page with details of Kyle’s Celebration of Life can be found at https://www.facebook.com/groups/502725288460420, as they become finalized.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that loved ones wishing to honor Kyle donate to the memorial fund that has been set up in loving memory and support for his boys: https://gofund.me/031ab093

Lindsay and Kyle met over 18 years ago In Durango, Co. Many years of friendship blossomed into a deep love they celebrated with marriage in 2013. Together they cherished their two boys, Tristan and Matthew. He stepped up again and again to be the father they both deserved for as long as he had, and was genuinely the easiest person to be with. Long before the end, Kyle and Lindsay questioned why life had given them such a burden, and why their children were meant to witness Kyle's cancer journey so young. We remember the best friend who sang off-key as loud as he could while we laughed so hard our faces hurt, the sweet man who wrote his own vows, and the dad who took the time to throw his kids into the pool. That was our Kyle, the loving family man striving to be his best with every day that went by even as he battled the pain and torment of cancer and all that came with it.

Kyle was truly the happiest kid. He loved every animal he ever met, saying hello to all of them before even saying hello to a human. He was only funny when he wasn’t trying to be, but if he made you laugh, he would just beam this goofy grin. He never smiled in pictures until he became a dad. He was an unbelievable artist which was passed onto Tristan who loved drawing Kyle pictures, true treasures to him. Tristan was Kyle’s truest soul mate. Tristan was born during a snowstorm in January 2011. He was in the NICU for 4 weeks and barely opened his eyes in the first month. But the moment he heard his dad’s voice, he smiled for the first time. They were thick as thieves ever after. The first thing Tristan did to honor his dad drew him a picture. Matthew is the living echo of his father from his seemingly eternal glee, to his drive to make sure everyone he loves knows how much he loves them. Every day his blue eyes sparkle and he looks more and more like his daddy.

A collector of everything, Kyle kept everything. From movie tickets, boxes, and boxes of baseball cards, and every Disney movie, he held onto those memories as he knew in his soul he was on borrowed time. There will never be the right words or even enough words to say about how amazing Kyle was, as a son, husband, father, and friend. While his passing came unexpectedly, we all have our own special memories that will live with each of us. There will never be another Kyle for any of us, but the time we had with him will be cherished.
