Memorial fund support - Tragic and fatal car accident impacts 3 families within our community who need our help and support!

It’s with heavy hearts that we are reaching out to the community under such unfortunate circumstances. January 14th in Quinte West there was a fatal car accident on HWY 2 resulting in the passing of 2 individuals, a five year old boy and a 26 year old man. We ask that people refrain from commenting any private or sensitive information regarding this accident on social media.

As parents we spend our lives protecting our children and in constant fear of losing them, what these families have lost can never be replicated, but what we can do together as a community is come together as one  big support team and do whatever we can to help them in this tragic time.

We (their close friends/family) are going to strive to do everything it possibly takes to help elevate any stress, worries, pain or added struggles that we all know will occur during this life altering accident. The amount of stress that has been thrown at these families is unimaginable.

With that being said we have all the faith in the world that as a community we can help gain as much support & care as possible to help these families and to guide them through this terrible loss giving them hope that there is a brighter side and life ahead! We are hoping to raise enough funds and spread enough awareness to ensure the families of the lives we lost are able to lay their loved ones to rest peacefully. There is no easy way to say goodbye to your child, grandchild, nephew, your significant other, or anyone you loved and cared so deeply for, but together as a community we can do whatever we can and whatever it takes to help them have the chance to say goodbye.

This memorial fundraiser was created with a heavy hearts the goal here is to cover any and all funeral and burial costs, essential or daily needs, bills accumulated due to the accident, or even for those affected to have access to mental health resources and housing accommodations. so much has changed for so many in a matter of minutes, please do whatever you can to help.
