Memorial Fundraiser for Ibraheem Azooz
Donation protected
Hello friends and family of Ibie Azooz.
It's with a heavy heart that I write this memorial post. I never could have imagined a time in my life that I would be sitting at my computer to share the news about my dear cousin Ibie's passing.
As many of you know, on Monday March 23rd, Ibraheem Azooz took his last breath here on Earth due to a tragic, accidental fall. The news was sudden and indescribably shocking. Family and friends spent the afternoon in disbelief, grieving the pain of this unbearable loss.
I'm sure anyone reading this knows who Ibie is and has a special connection to him and his life. To me and my cousins, he was a laidback, silly, kind natured young man that had a world of possibility and potential ahead of him. Losing Ibie at the young age of 16 is particularly tragic and painful because his story ended too soon. We were not ready to say goodbye.
It feels even harder to process his passing because the world is in flux and on lockdown due to the coronavirus. Many of us desperately want to be with Ibie's family in-person to share in the grief, but we can not be there and have to send our love from afar.
This memorial fund is being created to help offset the unexpected expenses that inevitably incur from events like this. The contributions from this page will go directly to the Azooz-Almaguer family to cover funeral and hospital expenses. We wanted to create a place to give since others have expressed a desire to help the family. If you are able to give, it is greatly appreciated and if you can't, that's very understandable. Lots of families are facing uncertain times so we have to do our best to care for each other and pitch in however we can.
We love you so much Ibie and we will miss your warm smile and kind presence.
