Memorial Fundraiser for Miss McColm

Miss McColm worked at Blackfield Primary School for over two decades as a Midday Supervisor and Learning Support Assistant. With many, many years at the school, she has worked with thousands of children and several generations of the same families. Sharalee often supported the more vulnerable children and was always there for those who struggled the most when needed.

Sharalee was forced to retire from work 18 months ago due to ill health, but has still been a regular face to school pupils, volunteering where she could, as school has always been a huge part of her life.

Staff, parents and children will dearly miss Miss McColm: her smile, her kind heart and ability to make any child feel safe and secure. She was a fabulous person and will always be remembered.

As a sign of respect and to ensure Sharalee's memory lives on, we would like to fundraise for two memoral 'friendship benches' with a plaque for the children of Blackfield Primary to enjoy. Even the smallest donation will make a difference. Thank you.
