Memorial Fundraiser Paddle for Ben Kiddie

Ben Kiddie was a great friend, father, and inspiration. His eloquence, enthusiasm, and perspective left a huge impression on me and I feel compelled to honor his memory as best I can. He passed away last year and is survived by his son Thomas.

 Ben was a hell of an endurance athlete with a comical eye for the dystopian side of life, so what better way to celebrate his legacy than paddle across the inhospitable waters of the Salton Sea. In his memory, I will paddle my 14' prone paddleboard over 10 miles across this desolate body of water. As far as I can tell, no one has done it before. Probably because it's a strange thing to do. But I'm doing it and I'm sure Ben would get a kick out of it.

100% of donations will go to Ben's son.

I'll be doing this paddle 3/27 or 3/28 (depending on wind) and will make a short video and send it out to everyone who makes a donation. Donate big and I'll gather a fresh bouquet of desert wildflowers and bring em to ya!
