Memorial Funds to Honor Peggy Luhrs

Our beloved Peggy, fierce, loving and compassionate advocate for women, took her last breaths in the early morning hours of 2/22/22. Her loving friend Nat was by her side throughout the night as Peggy transitioned peacefully.  She held heart space for us all, surrounding Peggy with our love.  Peggy was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer about 1 month ago. We are all reeling from this sudden and devastating loss. As we embrace and carry forth her spirit and memory, we are committed to preserving her life's work.
 
We are raising money for her cremation, a tree to plant in her honor, a plaque to honor her, costs for a celebration of her life, and any medical expenses not covered by Medicare. Any unused money will be donated to the Lesbian Herstory Archives.
