For Katie: Donate in Loving Memory of Juan Vitali

On February 19, the world lost a man of true integrity, grit, courage, and grace. The love of Katie's life, and a friend to everyone who met him, Juan succumbed to complications from his 20+ year battle with Crohn's disease which resulted in more than 30 surgeries. Two years ago, Juan was diagnosed with End Stage Kidney Disease (Stage 4), requiring dialysis three times a week and the hope for a kidney transplant.

Juan and Katie fought his health battles with humor and courage unlike I've ever witnessed before. Their love and concern for each other manifested itself in every facet of their lives...from family, jobs, travel, and hospital rooms. Katie slept in Juan's hospital room, the ICU lounge and even her car over the past several weeks while Juan remained hospitalized...wanting to be near in case he needed her in the middle of the night. And in turn, Juan held her hand and told her not to cry if he ever saw tears in her eyes.

As Katie faces this next stage in life, let us assist in removing some of her burden. Any donations received will be put towards mounting hospital bills, funeral costs, and unforeseen expenses.
