We suddenly lost Maxine at the age of 65 and We can not afford currently the funeral she would have wanted and so hope that some kindness from others will help us give Maxine a last moment for some beauty, to share stories of her life & put her creative soul to rest.
Maxine lived her life, looking to create and share beautiful things in the world.
She loved to be surrounded by nature, telling her children to hush and listen to the trees talking to each other in the wind. She filled her world with butterflies, teaching her family about their beauty, gentle nature and unique vibrant colours.
She taught them all how to explore, visiting fields of bluebells and shared her passion for the stars - “you can never be lost if you find Pleiades in the sky, it will point you in the right direction”
She loved to paint and covered her home in her creative designs, pouring her feelings and thoughts into poetry - a truly creative soul with art & biology her favourite subjects at Eaton Park Primary School.
Living most of her life in Stoke on Trent, she led a quiet life, but would go out of her way to help her neighbours, offering to get them food on her shops - loving being part of her community.
Like us all - she had some favourite things - enjoying a Wisper bar and watching Heartbeart on Sunday nights. Having cream cakes as a treat & could often be found singing at home to Abba.
As a family we would like to honour Maxine and her life , with all that meant to each of her children with a funeral and service to say goodbye.
Thank you to all who have read this far, we can never explain how much we appreciate your support.
