Memorial & Medical Expenses for Vincent Cammisa
Vinny and Patti married in 1985 and started a life together as they raised their two children.
In 1986, at 24 years old while working as a stone masons’ assistant, Vinny was injured, and sadly, he suffered endlessly for the rest of his life. Even through surgeries, illness, hospital stays and pain, he still tried hard to make the best of his life, although he was considered 100% disabled.
Never one to accept life’s circumstances, his loving wife Patti selflishly did whatever was necessary to make ends meet. Moving to find work, taking on multiple jobs, going back to school to receive her BA Degree, raising two great kids, and taking care of Vinny through over 30 years of therapy and medical procedures.
Although disabled and in constant pain Vinny was never one to just sit back. Whatever someone needed, Vinny was there, offering a lift to the store, watching your pet or just an ear to listen to your problems. Always willing to give and do more even with limited physical ability, since 2003 Vinny volunteered in his hometown, he was an active member with the Green Township Fire Department as their Fire Police Captain. He was extremely dedicated to the Fire Department and proud of his role giving back to his community.
The friendships and relationships he made with this new community of like-minded volunteers, ignited his sense of purpose and belonging. His smile and positive attitude were contagious.
On July 10, Vinny passed away unexpectedly. His passing has left his family and friends devastated. Over the past 30 years, Vinny and Patti have accrued substantial expenses associated with his medical treatments, hospital stays and therapies in addition to the death and funeral expenses of his unexpected passing.
Our goal is to help fund Patti to pay down these expenses and offer her the peace of mind financially to finally take a minute of time to take a breath after over 30 years of being the caretaker of Vinny and raising her now grow adult children.
We thank you in advance for any financial help you can give and hope you will continue to keep Patti and all of Vinny's loved ones in your prayers.
Sincerely,
Michael Ippolito (Vinny's Brother-in-Law)
