Hello, we are Heathers daughters and we are starting this go fund me in hopes to either give our mom the proper service she desires or to help her with living expenses if she pulls through. With her losing her job so close to Christmas, things have been hard financially. February of 2022 my mother was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She went through multiple rounds of chemo before she developed a UTI and pneumonia which caused her to become septic in August of 2022. She only had a 9% survival rate then and thankfully she pulled through. She started getting better and stronger after coming off the ventilator at the end of August, but she developed something called Post Sepsis Syndrome which basically took over her body. After many fights to go to the hospital on a March 13th we finally got her to go. Arriving at the hospital we didn’t know how bad things really were until we got some of the worst news. Our mother is now septic, but she’s also fighting Covid as well as an intestinal infection. She’s also in heart failure and on 4 different meds to stabilize her BP because her heart isn’t working like it needs to. In order to find out what was going on they had to order a bunch of tests and the results are not in moms favor unfortunately. She’s unable to breathe on her own due to having fluid in her lungs and the fact that her blood gas level is so high. After scanning her body they did find 4 new nodules on her lungs but are unsure if it’s cancer or not yet. March 14th she ended up coding, but they were able to bring her back. The doctor only gave her a 5% survival rate and says that he’s not sure if she’s going to even make it overnight. Im hoping and praying that she turns around for the better, this is truly my worst nightmare. Im asking for donations please, even if it’s just a $1 ANYTHING HELPS. Thank you everyone.
