Memorial Scholarship for Letizia Tagliafierro

As many of you know, we lost our dear friend Letizia Tagliafierro to cancer this past May. Compassionate, intelligent, hard-working and hilarious, Ledi, as she was fondly known, was loved by everyone who knew her. She had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel like they were a cherished friend through her kindness and positive energy.

Ledi always knew she wanted a career in public service and became an accomplished attorney and public servant. Her dedication and commitment to improving the lives of New Yorkers led her to leadership positions in the Governor's administration and attaining the role of State Inspector General.

To honor Ledi's memory and continue her legacy of service, friends and family are establishing a scholarship fund with Saugerties High School. This fund aims to support Saugerties high School students who share Ledi's passion for public service, helping to offset the costs of their college expenses.
