Obituary
James “Jim/Pawpaw” Arthur Hall, 74, of Cuero, went to fix the fields of Heaven, early Wednesday morning, May 4th, 2023 in DeTar ICU, just a day after his newest grandson Lennox Hall entered into the world. Jim was born and raised in Tomball to Andrew and Lucille Hall on June 4, 1948.
Jim was a veteran and served 3 years in the US Army flying helicopters in the Korean War. He was a member of the Gray lodge 329 and a 32nd degree Scottish Right Mason. He was a member of the Kiwanis club and Shriners. Jim worked for Mount Vernon Mills for many years bringing him and his family from Brenham to Cuero, where he would fall in love with the community. Jim was a man of his word and always helped others. He lived and breathed doing what he loved, and took great pride in the Cuero Little League Complex where he spent countless hours making sure it was always ready to play ball. In 2020, he was awarded the Larry Carter Community Service Award from the City of Cuero. The most important role he played was being an amazing husband, father and pawpaw. He took great pride in being the best pawpaw to his grandchildren and was very proud of each and every one of them.
Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Hall; father, Andrew Hall; brother, Charles Hall; best friend Glenn MacConnell and grandbaby, Lane McIntire.
He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 33 years, Rosemary Hall; sister Lucille Grounds; son, Adam Hall and fiancé Emily Bertram; son, Bubba Blue and daughter-in-law, Jennifer; daughter, Misty Becker and son-in-law, James; daughter, Kimberlyn Blue and fiancé, Ian Wilson; granddaughters, Victoria Becker, Abigail “Abi” Blue, Emmalynn “Emmi” Blue and grandsons, Colton Becker, Coleman Blue, Haiden Hall, Abbott “James” Hall, Maddox Hall, and Lennox Hall.
