Linda J. Settlemyer Memorial Service and Expenses

Linda's Memorial/Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at the San Bruno Senior Center (1555 Crystal Springs Rd, San Bruno, CA 94066).

The memorial will be a potluck so please bring a dish if you are able to.

My name is Steve Cobb and I started this Go Fund Me to raise funds for the memorial of my late wife, Linda Settlemyer.

Linda passed away on October 14, 2022, after a brief but fierce battle with cancer. I had the privilege of caring for her during her illness and holding her in my arms in the hours before she passed, reminding her of the memories we shared and the dreams we accomplished together, including buying our dream home in Belen, New Mexico.

We moved to Belen in July 2021 from the San Francisco Bay Area, where we both lived for the majority of our lives, bonding over Avon Walks for Breast Cancer, our passion for cinema, and our love of Harley Davidson motorcycles. We were both members of the Golden Gate HOG motorcycle chapter for many years and took countless rides throughout the country.

I also intend to scatter some of her ashes in the San Francisco Bay once I have the financial ability to do so.

Additionally, I would use any leftover funds after her memorial to pay for much-needed car repairs so I will have safe, reliable transportation.
