Memorial Service for Mr. Michael Walker
Donation protected
We have often said ourselves or heard these common phrases repeated, “Lighting Never Strikes Twice” or “God won’t give you more than you can handle” but sadly, the Martin/Walker family must once again painfully process the tragic, senseless and unexpected loss of one of their loved ones, Michael Walker, affectionately known to many as “MR. Michael Walker”. {On the night of October 21st he was violently and senselessly murdered while resting in the comfort of his residence}
Even with their strong faith in God, and their many blessings, they are forced to admit that this is too much loss and pain for one family.
That is why we are reaching out to those who have known and loved this family over the years to reach into their hearts and help them give Michael Walker a proper Celebration of Life. Not only will your support help contribute to his celebration of life, but it will also help to reduce some of the financial stress that this unexpected death has placed on his grandmother, his mother, and his young adult children.
Michael was a son, grandson, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
Michael was a hard worker and never hesitated to use his handyman skills to help. Michael was a leader in the unhoused community. He worked hard to protect the rights of others while fighting for his own livelihood. He coached many on how to navigate in and throughout the sometimes-difficult life in Los Angeles.
The family is asking that you contribute from your heart so that they can cover the cost of the memorial service, repass, cremation, and other cost associated with finalizing the affairs of a loved one. Your donations will be used 100% for this purpose and can be tax deductible if made through your business or non-profit organization.
Thank you in advance for recognizing how important it is to the Martin/Walker family to gather, celebrate, break bread, share memories, and honor the full life that Michael lived.
Mr. Michael Walker would be so grateful that you joined with the family to make his homegoing celebration one fitting for a Neighborhood Icon.
Our goal is $15,000. While we appreciate your anonymous gifts, we would love for you to leave your name and condolences on this page so we may thank you properly.
With a grateful and thankful heart,
Michael Walker’s Beloved Family
