Memorial services for Anna Carbone

On November 2nd, 2023 at 1:03 am, our beloved and fierce momma took her last breath. She was so loved, loyal, and quite simply, the best mom anyone could have ever had. She was a dedicated friend and anyone who talked to her for any amount of time knows that once you meet Anna, you have a friend for life.

With both of her kids living out of state, the approaching holidays, and the overall weight of this whole experience, we are once again reaching out to our community for help. There will be many associated expenses, everything from food costs and travel expenses to and from Colorado, (we have to empty her apartment among other logistical things).

We would also love to honor her life with all of her loved ones but that is simply out of our financial abilities at this time. We would love to do something, perhaps in the spring, as we raise funds to make it possible. She didn’t want any religious services, wanted to be cremated, and asked to be spread in Estes Park and Disney Land (you bet your ass that she’s getting both, no questions asked!) We will be doing our very best to make all of her wishes come true, including the one to celebrate her rather than wail in agony (even though we absolutely do the latter, we can’t help it).

As always, thank you for loving our momma. Thank you for being her friend, her confidants, and for making her life the beautiful one that it was! As we navigate the logistics, finances, and ups and downs of the next few weeks, we will keep updating as we move along. Thank you for the love and donations.
