Memorial Services For Jai Merrill

My name is Jamie Merrill & I’m using this platform to raise funds to bring my Son Jai from Denver, Colorado to his hometown Abilene, Texas, & also to help pay for memorial services & travel expenses. Jai was born in Abilene but passed away in Denver where he also has family & friends. I currently live in Texas & his Mother lives in Pennsylvania so we have a lot of unplanned expenses & a bit of a mountain to climb to make sure we honor our child’s life & that he’s laid to rest at home.

To have Jai cremated in Denver is $1500, & we will have a private memorial for his Denver family & friends. To have Jai’s Cremation Ceremony in Abilene at Elmwood is $4500. Travel expenses to Denver & back to Abilene, along with plane & hotel costs for family will be where the remaining funds are allocated.

We are trusting & leaning on GOD more than anything else during this process so prayer is invaluable & will for sure go a long way for us during this trying time as well. Jai’s Mother & I both appreciate the love & prayers in advance & we know we aren’t the only ones who lost a child this last few days. Our prayers for strength & comfort & spiritual understanding go out to all parents who are figuring out & processing how to bury a child. God is still with us especially right now.
