Thank you for visiting the Memorial and Family Support Fund for William O’Leary. My name is Bob Brown and I have organized this fundraiser in honor of a truly generous, compassionate and thoughtful man. Unfortunately, we tragically lost “Will” on September, 2, 2021. He was doing what he did best, piloting an aircraft for a family that was going on a Labor Day weekend getaway. Something went terribly wrong and in an instant, we lost a father, grandfather, son, brother and best friend.

Will leaves behind a beautiful and loving family, many great friends and others that knew him well over the years. In addition, he leaves behind an endless legacy of generosity and selflessness to all who knew him. This loss will leave a lifelong void in my heart and in the hearts of those who knew him and those who had the opportunity to have crossed paths with him. For these reasons, I felt compelled to repay that generosity. The best way for me to do that, and in such a time of need, was to find a way to provide support to his dearest loved ones, his beloved children, Jake and Julia, his daughter-in-law Yue Cao, and the newest addition to the family, his grandson, Leo.

My hope is that you will look into your hearts, open them with kindness and generosity to lessen the significant financial impact that has been unexpectedly put on his children. As Will’s family comes to terms with this tragic loss, the support will help with the many unplanned expenses that need to be addressed. Every donation will be deeply and sincerely appreciated.
