Please Help Honor Levi Rubin
Donation protected
I am sorry to share the sad news that we lost my nephew, Levi Rubin, to cancer. He passed away peacefully this week, surrounded by those he loved, including his twin brother Lex, sister Ava, and fiancee Mia. Levi was a kind and giving soul who lived a full life in just 19 years.
Levi was a talented musician who led his high school band, played in a jazz group, and, before his diagnosis, had planned to study music at UC Irvine. His curiosity and interests had no limit. He loved learning about Japanese culture and language and was able to travel to Japan this summer with Mia and her family. After reapplying to college, he began his studies this fall at UC Davis in the Japanese department. These last two goals, which he worked through incredible adversity to achieve, were highlights of his short life and are a testament to his unbreakable will and spirit. He will be missed.
Levi's family plans to honor his memory with a scholarship for high school students who embody his spirit. In lieu of flowers, food, cards, or other help, please donate to this crowdfunding to help kick off the effort.
Thank you,
Mimi (Levi's Aunt)
