Memorial wall to celebrate our war & local heroes
Donation protected
Eton Manor rugby club was established in 1928 and started as a boys club for under privileged boys. It has grown into the club it is today with many youth teams both boys and girls and a mens and womens team. Our club has a proud and inspiring history. Part of that history is the brave mens teams who played together and went to war together. Many of them didn't return. We want to find a way to honour them and the people who give so much to the club over many, many years. So we're building a beautiful memorial wall. A quiet space within the club grounds to remember those who died for us and those in the club who did so much to make it what it is today and will be tomorrow. We are a club that champions diversity, celebrates women and men and believes in equal opportunity for all. Those strong foundations come from many years of a supportive culture that was founded on inclusion. Please help us to make this dream a reality. Give as much or as little as you can, it will all make a difference. We will then be having an opening celebration and inviting the whole community to come and learn about our local heroes and to share any of their own stories. There are also 15 spaces for the first sponsors to support us that will be engraved onto the wall forever. This will cost £2,500. If you are interested please contact me and we can talk further. Help us make this dream a reality.
