Memory of Joseph Roswick & Support Verna Roswick

In lieu of a service and flowers we are participating in a gofundme program.
Joseph Roswick passed away, with his wife by his side, on December 16, 2018 at the age of 82 from complications of a triple-bypass surgery at Leesburg Regional Hospital, Leesburg, Florida.
He grew up in Detroit, Michigan attending Condon High School. Soon after graduating he met the love of his life Verna Balint and wed June 1, 1957. Also, In 1957 he joined the Wood, Wire and Metal Lathers International Union. He was a Master Lather and Plaster and later became a Master Carpenter.
He was very much in love with his wife Verna and enjoyed surprising her with little gifts anywhere from a leaf blower to jewelry, he enjoyed picking out. He was proud of his Polish heritage and his Big Blue Dodge Ram Pickup Truck. He had a love for his dogs and treated them as his babies. He had a “green-thumb” which showed in the beautiful gardens he created at his home in Florida. He was also a great “fix-it guy” always inventing cool things to make life easier around the house. His infectious smile was charming yet mischievous and kept you wondering what he was up to!
He worked hard all his life to provide his family a good home. As hardworking as he was even during his retirement, it was not realized there was no life insurance policy. His passing is causing a hardship for his wife of 61 years. Their Social Security is now cut in half and what small pension he was receiving from the the Lather& Plaster's Union is cut in half; while another pension he was receiving monthly stops all together. Due to this, his beautiful wife; my Mom is worried about the mortgage on their home. The balance owed is $142,228.92.
This gofundme is set up to raise funds to pay off the mortgage so his wife can stay in the home they have lived in for the last 15 years enjoying retirement.
The funds will be used to pay the monthly mortgage; unless enough is realized to pay the entire mortgage off.
I, their daughter will be in charge of processing mortgage payments from any funds raised.
We thank you for your kindness an thoughtfulness during this time of sorrow and difficulties.
