Mark Vickerman, age 55 of Minot, passed away on May 10, 2019. Mark was born on June 13, 1963, to Barbara Lou (Gilb) and Gerald Fred Vickerman in Marshall, Minnesota. On August 10, 1985, he married the love of his life, Anastasia Jacobs in Staples, Minnesota. Mark served his country with honor in multiple units of the 164th Engineer Battalion with the North Dakota Army National Guard until he retired as a Sergeant First Class. While serving, Mark and Anastasia raised their three children in Harvey, Minot, and Dickinson ultimately ending in Minot. After retiring from the military, Mark started his own gunsmith company: Mark’s Gun Works. He became a well-known member in the Minot community, a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, a board member of the Minot Gun Club and an avid NRA member. Mark loved hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the great outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered and dearly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife Anastasia, daughters, Janelle (BJ) Maxwell, and Elizabeth Vickerman, son Christopher Vickerman, his father Jerry, brother Leo Vickerman, sister Ellen Varner and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara and brother Brett.
