Menasco is Headed to Macy’s 2023!

Hello! My name is Kate Menasco and I am an Arizona High School Band Director. I haven’t gone “social-media official” but next Thanksgiving, I was selected to participate in the Band Director’s Marching Band with over 400 other directors from across the country to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! The purpose of this band is to showcase the accomplishments of band directors and what they do to continue the important work of providing music education to students.

My 40th birthday is coming up and I have everything I need! If you were looking to get me something, consider sending me to NYC! Any contribution helps cover hotel, travel, and all costs related to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’m hoping to show that music opens all kinds of doors and provide students of all ages (whether school age or old like me) with meaningful experiences.
