More information about The Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia: The Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia was founded in 1989 G.C. by Dr. Belay Abegaz to provide a free cardiac medical service for children. Since the establishment, the founders with key donors were able to save more than 9,500 children with heart disease. Currently, CHFE has its own state-of-the-art Cardiac Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with all required medical equipment and professional manpower. But, the center is limited in its activities because of a lack of consumables that depends on donations.
