Bob and Susie started their love affair over 30 years ago, you wont find a couple more in love, they ADORE each other. Last year, as Susie's beloved mom Dolly was diagnosed with terminal cancer, her rock Bob was also diagnosed with stage 4 tongue cancer. Through months of debilitating radiation and chemo treatments, Bob and Susie fought hard to win the battle against this aggressive foe. During this most difficult time of their lives, they first lost Dolly, then Susie's wonderful sister Debbie, in just two months. Now after fighting the hardest battle they've ever encountered for the last year, they find they have one last fight...one more 6 week course of chemo and another 6 week round of radiation.

They were blessed to find a treatment team that not only gave them hope, but the real possibility of a cancer free future in the UCLA Head and Neck Cancer Center in Westwood. Treatment isn't an option, it's absolutely necessary and they must attend daily treatments at UCLA, Westwood, but live in Palm Desert, more than 3 hours each way. This chemo and radiation will be harder than the last, but they are determined to FIGHT AND WIN.

I am managing this page to request donations for their living expenses in LA during those 6 weeks. It's hard enough to fight the ravages of the treatment, but driving back and forth, isn't an option, Bob will be too weak, too sick...Susie too worried about her Bob.
