Men’s suicide in Cumbria
Hi everyone, I am Aaron Frew, a student at the Energy Coast UTC and I have been given the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health/suicide awareness by completing a sponsored walk. All fundraising money will be donated to Andy’s Man Club here in Cumbria. I am trying to raise as much money as I can to help them provide this much needed support for people who need a listening ear or place to come when things aren’t great.
There is a strong place in my heart for men’s mental health and speaking up for ourselves and having the opportunity to talk things through is important. I have had friends go through this and it wasn’t nice so I am stepping up and confronting everyone that there is people out there that have time to listen to you and your problems. You’re not alone!
My main objective is to help men speak up and stop them from fighting on their own when there are plenty of people out there to speak to. Men think they feel weak when they speak up but it’s the complete opposite: they are a lot stronger than they think they are when they do. So dig deep and please donate to this very worthy cause.
