Mental Health Series for the Hospitality Industry
Donation protected
In memory of our friend Samuel Howard, High Street Hospitality Group and foxglove communications are partnering with the therapists at A Better Life Therapy (ABLT) to offer a series of mental health workshops for the city's restaurant industry.
Starting Monday, April 20th at 12pm, five complimentary virtual mental health sessions will be available to all of Philadelphia's restaurant community. The therapists at ABLT will compassionately tackle the topics many of us are grappling with right now: transitions and uncertainty, financial conversations, mindfulness and grounding strategies for overwhelming feelings, substance use, co-regulation and relationships. The sessions will be held on Mondays at 12pm EST for five consecutive weeks beginning on April 20th via Zoom.
While the sessions are generously donated by ABLT, High Street Hospitality and foxlgove are requesting donations here from anyone who is able to contribute so ABLT can continue to provide mental health resources to the largely laid off and furloughed hospitality industry, free of charge. All donations will go directly towards pro-bono private therapy sessions from ABLT for anyone in the restaurant community who is in need of mental health assistance right now.
$75 will cover one 50 minute session for one person. Teletherapy sessions will be offered using "Simple Practice," a HIPPA compliant telemedicine platform. Donations of any dollar amount are appreciated immensely.
You can register for the complimentary webinars here . Please follow @forkrestaurant and @abetterlifetherapy on Instagram for continued information on the series. Feel free to email Gia Vecchio, [email redacted], with any questions.
