Meow Menders TNR
Help Us Make a Difference in Rice County with Meow Menders TNR
Hello animal lovers!
We are excited to introduce Meow Menders TNR, a Trap-Neuter-Return program dedicated to controlling and reducing the stray cat population in Rice County. Our mission is to humanely manage the cat population, ensuring healthier and safer communities for both our feline friends and our residents.
Why TNR?
Trap-Neuter-Return is a humane and effective method for managing stray and feral cat populations. Here’s how it works:
1. Trap: We humanely trap stray and feral cats.
2. Neuter: The cats are spayed or neutered by licensed veterinarians, vaccinated, and given any necessary medical care.
3. Return: The cats are then returned to their original location to live out their lives without contributing to the overpopulation problem.
Why We Need Your Help
Starting a TNR program involves significant initial costs, including traps, veterinary fees, supplies, and educational materials for the community.
Your Contributions Will Help Us:
-Pay for the IRS 501 c 3 filing
- Purchase humane traps and other necessary equipment.
- Cover veterinary costs for spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and medical care.
- Provide food and temporary shelter for cats during their recovery.
- Educate the community about the importance of TNR and how they can help.
