Barry needs your help!

Firstly, thank you all so much for the donations so far!! ♡

The trip to the vet went well: Barry was such a good boy! A few things:

× He gained weight and now weighs 5,5 kg so, if you live at Haarweg, please do not feed Barry anymore! He has a few corridors as his homebase who are tracking his food together, but this only works if we are the only ones feeding him. Thankyou!

× He has a painful teeth infection that probably needs to be treated before the end of 2023, to prevent it from getting worse and reduce his pain. The costs are around €300 so the donations will help cover this! The bill of today was €76 so this will be covered as well.

× The abcess on his head is not harmful and his lethargic behavior turns out to be due to his age.

All in all: it went well and Barry is doing better than we thought! The donations will be spend well and we will keep giving updates on future treatments etc.

Barry is a sweet, 18-year-old, chonky cat living at a student complex in Wageningen. Years ago he was left behind by his previous owners and since then, he gets taking care of by multiple corridors in the building. He's enjoying his life here and is loved by many!!

Lately however he's been feeling lethargic and we noticed a big lump on his head thats growing bigger. With this concern we're going to the vet to get him properly checked out and tested.

We're looking for sponsors to help cover the costs of the vet and tests (bloodwork etc). The exact costs will be updated after the appointment on 2nd of June 2023, but will probably be at least 100euros. In case there will be any 'leftover' money, it will be spend on future appointments and snacks to help him recover from the stress that a visit to the vet brings.

We really want to help Barry feel his best during his days as an elderly chonky boy! Any contribution counts and will be appreciated!
