Meranda, Jade and Emily bury their Mom
Donation protected
Goal has been reached and funeral is covered. There are not words big enough to explain the gratitude for all of your generosity. This community, family, friends and the people that helped my Nieces financially afford a service and help lay their momma to rest from the bottom of my heart a big Thank you. Meranda Denise Cox Jade Cox Em Cox are extremely grateful. So we want all of you to come celebrate JoDana.
Memorial/celebration of life will be Tuesday 10 am at Fathers house church. Graveside to follow. Please share... name is Becky, (JoDana sister) as many of you know JoDana passed away very unexpectedly yesterday at the age of 43. She started feeling sick on Thursday and thought she had the flu. Sunday night she went to the hospital in Grove and found out her kidneys were not functioning. They transported her to Joplin where more test were done and she was told she had a very Rare infection that was eating and killing her flesh and tissue. They rushed her into surgery and scraped what they thought was all of it off. She was out of surgery and they started dialysis immediately to get toxins out of her body. By 5 AM yesterday things were not working and the doctors there decided that she should be life flighted to Springfield. Upon arrival there doctor's immediately rushed her into surgery and amputated her arm and scraped a large area on the chest to give her a fighting chance against the infection. The stress was just to much on my sister. She coded at 5:15 PM and was pronounced dead at 5:30.
She leaves behind 3 daughters and had no life insurance. We are asking for help. The girls want to bury their momma. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go to Brown and Winter's funeral home for cost of burial. We will also be setting up an account at a local bank for the expenses.
No matter if you donate or not the girls, Angie and I could sure use some prayers as we navigate this very unexpected loss.
