Join us in our mission to create a safe haven for abandoned and neglected dogs in our community.
With your support, we can establish a state-of-the-art dog rescue facility that will provide shelter, care, and a second chance at life for these precious animals. Together, we can make a difference and build a brighter future for our furry friends. If all the projects we have undertaken over the last 15 years, this project is the most ambitious and the most consequential for so many. Bringing together a community of dog and animal lovers who want to make a positive impact. By working together, we can create a stronger support network and make a significant difference in the lives of dogs. It's inspiring to see people who are passionate about making the world a better place for our furry friends. By supporting our "Building Hope" campaign, you can make a lasting impact on the lives of countless dogs in need. Together, we can transform their lives and give them the love, care, and forever homes they deserve. Join us in building a brighter future for our furry friends and help us create a dog rescue facility that will be a beacon of hope for years to come.
Our rescue mission began from a personal commitment to save dogs from euthanasia. Beverly, our founder, started by rescuing 11 puppies from Memphis Animal Services, which were scheduled for euthanasia due to minor illnesses. This initiative quickly grew into a larger effort to rescue more dogs, find foster homes, and eventually place them in permanent homes through adoption.
In order to save more lives, we need a permanent place for our dogs to go. Until they find their forever homes.
We recently toured the former South Suburban Adoption Center in Homewood, IL, which is listed for $220,000. This facility offers an incredible opportunity to expand our rescue operations, providing 33 indoor kennels with outdoor runs, a secure play yard, a grooming room, and living quarters for on-site volunteers. However, to make this dream a reality, we need to raise the necessary funds to purchase and renovate the building.
OUR GOALS
1. **Purchase the Facility:** Acquire the former South Suburban Adoption Center to provide a safe and permanent space for our rescue operations.
2. **Renovation and Maintenance:** Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained for the care of our dogs.
3. **Expand Rescue Operations:** Increase our capacity to save more dogs from high-kill shelters and provide them with the care they need until they find their forever homes.
**Funding Needs:**
- **Purchase Cost:** $220,000
