Mercy Convent, Naas New School Grounds Fund

Help us reach our GOAL to install a Phenomenal Playground, a Sensational Sensory Garden and 3 Amazing Astroturf Pitches for Mercy Convent Primary School. 

Our school is currently undergoing a major construction project and we will be opening our brand new school building in 2022. Unfortunately, this project has been delayed for many years and our 550 children will have been in prefabs for over five years, with very limited facilities.

The parents and staff have been actively raising funds for several years to help complete the school grounds and facilities for the children. To date, over many years, €110,450 has been raised. The school needs to raise a further €39,550 to complete three huge projects that will make a huge difference to the lives of all our pupils and the children of Naas town.

 We are constructing a 60 x 30m Artificial Grass Pitch, a large playground and finally a sensory garden / outdoor classroom space. In Mercy Convent we take a holistic approach to pupil well-being catering for their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development. It is our belief that the school environment plays a significant role in promoting well-being and it is with this in mind that we are seeking to finish our new school grounds to the highest standard possible.
