Mercy Home: Women and Children Shelter

A collaborative effort of multiple outstanding organizations has resulted in the establishment of a much-needed women and children shelter within our community. The following organizations have joined hands to launch a beautiful project: MCC, MusCare, Bhalo, Silk Road Foundation, and Arab American Association of NY.

Mercy Home will provide temporary accommodation, safety, and support services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, abuse, or homelessness. One of the key goals is to provide emotional support and counseling services to the residents. Trained staff members and volunteers offer a compassionate and understanding environment where women and children can talk about their experiences, receive validation, and gain emotional strength.

The donations received will be utilized to purchase furniture for the shelter, essential items and supplies, medical necessities, children's and baby items, food, and other related necessities.
