Mere Fidelity Sound Equipment

You have put up with mediocre sound--we have prioritized having our conversations and the content above everything else.
But since it seems like this little podcast is not going away, it's time for us to buy some proper microphones and other sound equipment.
If you have enjoyed listening to us, we appreciate any support you can give us. And if you're hate-listening every week, we'll take your money too. Yelling at a podcast is much more fun, we imagine, if you can hear them properly.
Any leftover funds will go into the pool to pay our ongoing sound editor, who does not work for free. After we all buy ourselves a pizza, that is. (That's a joke.)
The details:
Here are the microphones we're looking to buy . We're going to get four of them, which (with shipping) will cost around $500 (since two of our people are in the UK). This is the shockmount that we will use . At $50 a pop, that's another $200. These are the filters we will use, which will cost another $160 or so.
That's roughly $860 total. Additional funds will pay for our sound guy, who has been editing podcasts at a very inexpensive rate of $25 per show so far.
